Dermatologist Dr Aman Dua Becomes First Female President Of Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons of India

Dr Aman Dua has been known for her work in facial aesthetics, especially in non-surgical acne scar removal.

Dermatologist Dr Aman Dua has been elected as the president of the Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons of India (AHRS). The announcement was made at the 13th Annual Conference of AHRS meeting that was recently held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Dr Dua, who co-founded AK Clinics in Ludhiana, has more than 14 years of experience in dermatology and hair transplant. She has been known for her work in facial aesthetics, especially in non-surgical acne scar removal.

“The country needs more female participants, and I’m honoured to be in the position where I can help and motivate many, many future surgeons to come up and reach new heights,” Dr Dua, one of the founding members of AHRS said at the meeting.

Dr Dua is also the first Indian female FUE hair transplant surgeon and the first female Indian doctor to a present research paper on hair transplant at an international conference.

Founded in 2008, AHRS is a non-profit organisation that intends to promote research and awareness in the field of hair restoration surgery. The 13th Annual Conference of AHRS witnessed the attendance of leading hair restoration surgeons from across the country.
