Kochi-based Doctors Aesthetics Centre launched US FDA-approved Picocare 250 Majesty for the first time in south India. The addition of Picocare 250 Majesty will reportedly help the facility expand its variety of offerings.
According to Doctors Aesthetics Centre, Picocare 250 Majesty will boost the skin laser care and aesthetics scene in India. It also helps in revealing natural glow hidden by ageing and other issues including uneven texture, dull skin tone and fine lines.
Furthermore, Doctors Aesthetics Centre reportedly stated that Picocare 250 Majesty also works in removing multi-coloured tattoos. It is also effective in pigmented lesion treatments for freckles, lentigines, age spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma and scar treatments like acne scars, atrophic scars and hypertrophic scars.
Dr George Varghese Koluthara, who has more than 22 years in the field of medical aesthetics, launched Doctors Aesthetics Centre in 2014. The facility is popular for its advanced skin laser treatments for unwanted hair removal, skin tags, capillary haemangioma, spider veins, melisma and facial pigmentation among others. Doctors Aesthetics Centre is reportedly the only centre in Kerala to have five technologies of CoolSculpting, SculpSure, Ultraformer III, CM Slim and Venus Legacy under one roof for non-surgical fat reduction.
The medical aesthetics industry continues to witness a growing demand in India. Recently, Gurugram-based Meddo Health launched a new brand ‘Uncover’ in India to provide advanced aesthetic dermatology services. According to Meddo Health, it plans to modernise the skincare and medical aesthetic industry in the country by offering treatments provided by the best dermatologists either at its facilities or even virtually. ‘Uncover’ will reportedly begin operations from Delhi/NCR and will eventually target Tier 1 and 2 cities. It is also aiming to open centres in Jaipur, Panipat, Jalandhar and other cities.
