Meddo Health, a Gurugram-based start-up, launched a new brand ‘Uncover’ in India with an aim to provide advanced aesthetic dermatology services. According to Meddo Health, it plans to modernise the skincare and medical aesthetic industry in the country by offering treatments provided by the best dermatologists either at its facilities or even virtually.

The company reportedly stated that it will begin ‘Uncover’ operations from Delhi/NCR and will eventually target Tier 1 and 2 cities. It is also aiming to open centres in Jaipur, Panipat, Jalandhar and other cities, with forecasting to generate more than Rs 200 crore in revenue in the coming two years.

‘Uncover’ aims to cater to India’s aesthetic medicine market by offering range of expert services that are backed by the best technology and expert knowledge, giving users access to results-driven solutions for their unique concerns. The brand reportedly stated that it intends to break the ‘claims-heavy’ industry by providing credible solutions to its users.

India’s dermatology skincare market is growing rapidly and will likely expand at a CAGR of over 15 per cent between 2020 and 2025, according to a recent report,. This will bring the aesthetic medicine market to over $1 billion annually in the country. This growth can be attributed to the increasing awareness about healthy skincare and rising disposable incomes.
