Plastic surgery for Rishabh Pant after serious car crash

Cricketer Rishabh Pant, who suffered facial injuries following a car accident near Roorkee, Uttarakhand, has undergone plastic surgery. According to reports, doctors at a private hospital in Delhi performed the surgery for burn wounds on his face and back. Pant was on his way to Roorkee from Delhi on December 30 to surprise his mother for the New Year when his car hit a divider and caught flames. The 25-year-old broke the windscreen of his car to escape when a driver and a conductor of a Haryana roadways bus helped him get out of the car. He was rushed to local hospital Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre, where the cricketer received treatment for impact injuries. Pant was later moved to Max Hospital in Dehradun, where doctors performed the plastic surgery on him.

Secondary resources reveal that apart from the facial wounds, Pant sustained a ligament tear in his right knee, and abrasion injuries on his back. He also reportedly hurt his right wrist, ankle and toe. However, it is known that the cricketer has been responding well to the treatment following the surgery.
