Pune-based Skintillatingg Clinics and Institute launched ‘Discover Real You’, an educative programme on healthy lifestyle for healthy skin and hair. The 21-day programme will be open to people between 15 and 65 years of age.
The programme also raises funds for the LGBTQ community’s well-being, education and aesthetic surgeries through non-profit Amaleeni foundation. ‘Discover Real You’ will reportedly provide doctor consultations, guidance for daily skincare regimen. It will also provide online sessions with Dr Akshaya Jain, the founder and CEO of Skintillatingg Clinics and Institute. According to the clinic, the programme fee is Rs 5,000, and participants can expect a 10-20 per cent improvement in their skin and hair within 20 days.
Dr Jain has been an aesthetic cosmetologist for over five years. She also received Times Power Woman 2018 as the youngest entrepreneur in Maharashtra. Skintilliatingg Clinics and Institute’s cosmetology and aesthetic programmes are an amalgamation of innovative curriculum and hands-on training.
Growing Demand For Medical Aesthetics
The demand for medical aesthetics industry has been growing on a rapid pace in India. Recently, Gurugram-based Meddo Health launched a new brand ‘Uncover’ in India to provide advanced aesthetic dermatology services. According to Meddo Health, it plans to modernise the skincare and medical aesthetic industry by offering best treatments either at its facilities or even virtually. ‘Uncover’ will reportedly begin operations from Delhi/NCR and will eventually target Tier 1 and 2 cities. It is also aiming to open centres in Jaipur, Panipat, Jalandhar and other cities.
Separately, Kochi-based Doctors Aesthetics Centre launched US FDA-approved Picocare 250 Majesty for the first time in south India. The facility’s latest addition will reportedly help it expand its variety of offerings. Doctors Aesthetics Centre reportedly stated that Picocare 250 Majesty also works in removing multi-coloured tattoos. It is also effective in pigmented lesion treatments for freckles, lentigines, age spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, melasma and scar treatments.
