Victress Beauty Academy: Semi-permanent makeup for wedding season 2022

Make sure that these procedures should be completed at least four weeks before any event so that the skin has enough time to heal.

As the wedding season approaches, people scramble to get their best looks. While it may be daunting to understand the season trends and pick up suitable makeup, getting a professional’s help for such important occasions can be a good investment – more so with semi-permanent makeup.

India’s semi-permanent makeup industry may not be new, but it has advanced vastly in the past decade. Victress Beauty Academy’s Co-Founder Raman Chohan shares some tips to get on with makeup needs for this wedding season. Keep in mind that these procedures should be completed at least four weeks before any event so that the skin has enough time to heal.

Starting with basic but an important part of the beauty regime – eyebrows. Well-shaped, thick eyebrows can be a gamechanger in the overall look. as they enhance the other strong features on the face. According to Chohan, designing and mapping the eyebrows can enhance other strong features of the face. Perfectly shaped eyebrows with the correct arch can give one an instant facelift, making them look and feel young.

Another procedure to opt for in the semi-permanent makeup department is lip blush or lip pigment. To eliminate the need to frequent touch up, lip blush or lip pigment come into play. They give lips a warm pink tone, improving one’s look. For those with pigmented lips, this procedure can be used to give the lips an even and natural blush tone by covering dark spots.

“Modern semi-permanent makeup takes aging and beauty trends into consideration. As a client’s skin, bone structure, and trends change, semi-permanent makeup can be tweaked and customized for each individual person,” Chohan, said. “I don’t believe that semi-permanent makeup is a trend; this treatment is the way of the future for flawless looks. I, however, do believe that this procedure should always remain semi-permanent. As we age not only do trends change but our bone structure also changes. For this reason, we do not want to do anything permanent to our faces,” she added.
