Noninvasive TGF-β-Induced therapy show positive results

Beauty, spa. Woman with beautiful face

As reported, according to study findings published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, procedures to help anti-ageing and promote skin rejuvenation were conducted by investigators who examined the efficacy of two sessions of growth factor-induced therapy using AQ Skin Solutions, which contains a mixture of transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β), granulocyte-monocyte colony-stimulating factor, and platelet-derived growth factor.

The pilot experiment included 30 women (of whom 20 were Asian, 5 were White, and 5 were Latina) with an average age of 38 years. The women had mild to moderate signs of skin ageing – including fine lines and wrinkles.Their primary goal was to rejuvenate and improve their overall skin appearance. The results of the study showed that growth factor-induced therapy resulted in positive skin rejuvenation in the women with 95 per cent confidence.
