Dr Malavika Kohli has made waves being the Chairperson of the Indian Sunscreen Forum under the Dermatologist’s Society of India. The inaugural event attracted an overwhelming audience on the eve of Sunscreen Day.

The event included power-packed presentations and expert panel discussions on the topics of sunscreen, filters and formulations.

Remarkable Attendance and Growing Interest

About 1200 professionals attended the event online, making it the most remarkable highlight. In addition, 70 more dermatologists attended it offline proving the versatility and growing interest in this skincare sub-sector.

The panel discussed sunscreen’s role in managing skin diseases and enhancing cosmetic skin outcomes. An analytical insight into the various formulations available would provide much-needed information regarding their role in skin health shields.
