DEKA International and GeoBio are expanding their presence in India’s growing aesthetic medicine market. The Italian medical technology company has partnered with GeoBio’s healthcare technology arm, GeoMedics Pharma.
Together, they recently installed and inaugurated several aesthetic technology platforms across Mumbai, Pune and Chennai. The expansion targets dermatologists, aesthetic physicians and medical institutions seeking advanced clinical technologies.
The companies are responding to growing demand for research-backed and precision-engineered aesthetic treatments. Indian physicians and patients increasingly examine the science behind aesthetic technologies before choosing treatment options. They also place greater emphasis on clinical relevance, engineering quality, physician training and long-term technical support.
Expanding access to advanced technologies
DEKA and GeoMedics have introduced technologies covering dermatology, skin rejuvenation, body contouring and other aesthetic applications. In Mumbai, several clinics have adopted DEKA platforms for different dermatological and aesthetic procedures.
Clinics operated by Dr Satish Savant and Dr Sushil Savant added four DEKA platforms. These include Toro Pico Nano, Punto, VasQ and Motus Pro. The platforms support applications including pigmentation treatment, resurfacing, vascular procedures and hair reduction.
Dr Rashmi Shetty’s clinic in Santacruz also introduced ONDA PRO. The platform uses DEKA’s patented Coolwaves microwave technology for non-invasive aesthetic procedures. These applications include localised fat reduction, cellulite improvement and skin tightening.
Alok Dermatology Institute in Panvel has also expanded its DEKA technology portfolio. Its equipment includes DuoGlide, Red Touch Pro, ONDA PRO, MiniSilk and Motus Pro.
Strengthening the Pune and Chennai footprint
In Pune, DEKA has expanded into both private practices and academic medical institutions. Bharati Hospital and Bharati Vidyapeeth introduced Red Touch Pro and Toro Pico Nano. The technologies support patient care while also contributing to medical education.
D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre introduced DEKA Again Pro Plus. Meanwhile, a Pune practice added Toro Pico Nano, PHYSIQ 360 and ONDA PRO. In Chennai, HALOS Clinic introduced ONDA PRO with Coolwaves technology alongside MiniSilk.
Focusing on training and clinical support
The expansion also focuses on education and technical support beyond equipment installation. DEKA and GeoMedics provide physician training, clinical protocols, application support and technical services.
Francesco Badii, Head of DEKA International, said the company remains focused on research-driven technology. He said India represents an important and rapidly developing market for the company.
GeoMedics CMD Somen Banerjee said the partnership focuses on building an ecosystem around advanced technology. He highlighted the importance of science, training, knowledge and service alongside medical equipment.
The companies said India’s aesthetic medicine market is moving toward more informed technology decisions. Their expanding footprint reflects this shift toward scientific credibility, treatment precision and clinically relevant technologies. DEKA and GeoMedics now offer a broader technology portfolio across three major Indian cities.
