Alma Lasers has launched its next-generation Harmony platform in India, expanding access to advanced energy-based aesthetic treatments. The company unveiled the platform at an event attended by dermatologists and aesthetic medicine specialists. The launch strengthens Alma’s presence in India’s fast-growing medical aesthetics market.
The Harmony platform combines several laser and light-based technologies into one system. It enables clinicians to perform multiple procedures using a single device. The platform supports personalised treatment plans for different skin types and aesthetic concerns.
Five integrated technologies in one platform
The new system integrates five core technologies. These include Q-switched laser, fractional ablative laser, non-ablative laser, intense pulsed light (IPL), and green diode laser. Together, they allow practitioners to address a broad range of clinical indications with greater flexibility.
The platform treats skin resurfacing, pigmentation, acne scars, vascular lesions, tattoo removal, hair removal, and skin rejuvenation. It also supports collagen stimulation and skin tightening procedures. The system aims to deliver comprehensive care through customised combination treatments.
Improved performance and clinical workflow
Alma states that the platform delivers up to 45 per cent more energy than its previous Harmony XL PRO system. The increased energy enables clinicians to perform treatments more efficiently while maintaining precision. The upgrade also allows clinics to manage diverse patient needs using one integrated platform.
The company designed the platform to improve workflow and ease of use. It features an intelligent interface, automated settings, customisable presets, and ergonomically designed applicators. These enhancements help practitioners perform treatments with greater consistency and efficiency.
Supporting personalised combination treatments
According to Alma, the platform reflects growing demand for combination procedures. Patients increasingly seek treatments that deliver natural-looking outcomes with minimal downtime. Multi-technology systems allow physicians to personalise protocols based on individual skin conditions and treatment goals.
The launch also introduces Harmony Bio-Boost, a branded skin rejuvenation protocol. The treatment combines multiple technologies to stimulate collagen production and improve overall skin quality. Alma expects the protocol to help clinics meet rising demand for non-invasive facial rejuvenation.
Industry experts believe combination therapies are becoming central to modern aesthetic practice. Different laser wavelengths target various skin layers and chromophores during the same treatment session. This approach helps physicians optimise outcomes while reducing recovery time for patients.
India remains a key growth market
India remains an important growth market for aesthetic medicine. Rising consumer awareness, higher disposable incomes, and increasing acceptance of minimally invasive procedures continue to drive demand. Clinics are also investing in advanced technologies to expand their treatment portfolios and improve patient experiences.
With the Harmony platform, Alma Lasers aims to strengthen its position in India’s competitive aesthetics market. The company expects the technology to support practitioners with versatile treatment options while meeting growing demand for personalised, evidence-based aesthetic care.
