Dr Batra’s Healthcare has launched HairGain, an exosome-based regenerative hair therapy developed to address hair loss through non-invasive treatment. The solution combines 50 billion exosomes with bioactive ingredients to stimulate hair follicles and support natural hair regrowth.
HairGain is formulated with a high concentration of exosomes alongside collagen, caffeine, polypeptides and growth factors. The company said the treatment targets weakened and dormant hair follicles, promoting follicular regeneration while improving scalp health. It is designed for both men and women experiencing hair thinning or hair loss and does not contain minoxidil.
Advancing biotechnology in hair restoration
The launch marks Dr Batra’s latest investment in regenerative healthcare technologies as demand grows for minimally invasive aesthetic and dermatological treatments. The company also noted that HairGain has received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO).
According to Dr Batra’s Healthcare, exosomes function as cellular messengers that facilitate communication between cells by transporting proteins, lipids and growth factors. These exosomes deliver regenerative signals directly to hair follicles, helping restore follicular activity and improve hair density over time.
Designed for non-invasive hair regrowth
The treatment has been developed to address multiple stages of hair loss while reducing the need for invasive procedures. The company said patients may begin to observe visible improvements in hair growth within 75 days. Although outcomes will vary depending on individual hair conditions and treatment response.
Dr Akshay Batra, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Dr Batra’s Healthcare, said, “Our focus is to make clinically backed, technology-driven solutions accessible to patients seeking safe, effective and non-invasive treatment options for hair loss.”
Supporting innovation in regenerative medicine
The introduction of HairGain reflects a broader industry shift towards regenerative therapies within the dermatology and aesthetics market. Exosome-based technologies are increasingly being evaluated for their potential to improve tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation and enhance follicular repair.
With the launch of HairGain, Dr Batra’s Healthcare continues to expand its portfolio of science-led treatment solutions. The company aims to strengthen its position in India’s regenerative healthcare market by integrating advanced biotechnology with its established clinical expertise. The introduction also reinforces the growing role of exosome-based therapies in supporting innovation across aesthetic medicine and hair restoration.
