Emcure Pharmaceuticals eyes big growth in gynaecology FY26

Emcure Pharmaceuticals Boosts Domestic Growth by 24.8%

Emcure Pharmaceuticals is planning to expand its range of products in gynaecology and dermatology in FY26. The company saw a strong 24.8 per cent growth in its domestic business in Q4FY25. It is now focusing on launching more treatments for women’s health, especially for menopause and PCOS.

This builds on their earlier work in FY25 and sets the foundation for more offerings in the coming year.

Skincare growth with Emcutix

To support its plans in dermatology, Emcure Pharmaceuticals started Emcutix Biopharmaceuticals, a new company focused on cosmetic skincare. Two products are already on the market, one for skin tightening and another that is a urea-based moisturiser.

More skincare products are on the way. The company is also looking to partner with others to grow in both cosmetic and medical dermatology.

Q4 performance and business outlook

Emcure made a profit of Rs 197 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25, which is 63 per cent more than the same time last year. Its total revenue went up to Rs 2,116 crore, with most of the growth coming from the Indian market. The company also saw good results in other countries like Canada, Europe, and other global markets.

For FY26, Emcure plans to grow its revenue by 13 to 14 per cent and improve its profit margins by about 150 basis points. The company says it will focus on strong execution and better profitability.

Broader launch plans and future focus

Along with its focus on women’s health and skincare, Emcure has added Sanofi’s cardiology products to its range in India. This is expected to strengthen its cardio-diabetic business. Emcure is also preparing to launch semaglutide, a weight-loss medicine, in India and wants to be among the first to introduce it.

Looking ahead, the company is putting resources into advanced treatments such as complex injectables, biosimilars, and antibody-drug conjugates. It will continue to focus on areas like central nervous system disorders and dermatology.

Building a stronger pharma portfolio

Emcure is building a strong presence in India’s pharmaceutical market by focusing on fast-growing treatment areas. It is also increasing its investment in research and development, especially in the fields of women’s health and skincare.
