Hyderabad becomes hub for facial plastic surgery talks

Global surgeons united in Hyderabad to share breakthroughs in rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery, shaping the future of care.

The 9th International Rhinoplasty & Facial Plastic Surgery Workshop recently held in Hyderabad. Alongside the Indian Facial Plastic Surgery Summit 2025, it brought together leading global and Indian surgeons for two days of academic exchange.

CARE Hospitals hosted the event in association with the Facial Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery India Trust (FRCSIT). It provided a unique forum to showcase innovations, refine techniques, and strengthen collaborations in facial plastic surgery.

At the inauguration, senior leadership from CARE Hospitals highlighted the institution’s role in bridging global expertise with India’s growing medical capabilities.

Day one featured live surgical demonstrations and academic sessions by world-renowned experts. The speakers included Prof Yong Ju Jang (South Korea), Dr Chuan-Hsiang Kao (Taiwan), Dr Ullas Raghavan (UK), Dr Sandeep Uppal (Singapore), and Prof Nar Maya Thapa (Nepal).

Their lectures and demonstrations touched on the latest advancements in rhinoplasty, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic innovations. They offered delegates valuable insights into evolving global practices.

Dr N Vishnu Swaroop Reddy, Organising Chairman and Clinical Director at CARE Hospitals, highlighted the transformative value of such gatherings. He noted that the live demonstrations and interactive exchanges serve as an inspiration for Indian surgeons to continually push the boundaries of clinical excellence.
