CHOSEN by Dermatology marks 6 years at Sixer Conclave

CHOSEN by Dermatology celebrated its sixth anniversary at the Sixer Conclave 2026 in Chennai on March 24. The event took place at the Sir Mutha Venkata Subba Rao Concert Hall, Lady Andal School Grounds, and brought together the brand’s community, industry experts, and cultural personalities. Actor and television host Ramya Subramanian opened the evening with a warm welcome and reflected on CHOSEN’s growth journey. She highlighted how a small dermatologist‑led brand evolved into a trusted community‑centric skincare leader.

Founder shares company milestones


Founder Dr Renita Rajan delivered the keynote address, outlining the company’s achievements over six years. She emphasised that skincare longevity depends on how individuals care for their skin early in life. CHOSEN launched during the pandemic with just three products and a clear science‑led mission. Today, over 70,000 users trust its range, and more than 1,600 dermatologists prescribe its products across India.

Expanding products for skin of colour


The brand now offers skincare, haircare, body care, and nutraceutical solutions tailored for skin of colour. The evening’s lineup featured diverse speakers and entertainment to showcase community spirit and innovation. Comedian Vikkals Vikram energised the event with a high‑energy stand‑up performance. Technology and business leader Suresh Sambandam, Founder and CEO of Kissflow, shared insights on artificial intelligence and its influence on business and consumers.

Panel discussion highlights support and resilience


A panel titled “Your Greatest Cheerleader” emphasised the power of support systems in personal growth. Entrepreneurs CK Kumaravel and Veena Kumaravel of Naturals Beauty Salon joined the discussion. Also on the panel were Surendran Jayasekar, Shiny Surendran, and actor Dushara Vijayan, who spoke on partnerships, resilience, and community support in business journeys.

Motivational closing and product launches


The evening closed with a motivational talk by actor and radio personality RJ Balaji, who mixed humour and personal reflections to inspire attendees. The event also featured the launch of eight popular products from 2026. Each product was introduced with a 30‑second film and handed to community members called CHOSEN Ones. The launches spanned skincare, haircare, body care, and nutraceutical categories.

Highlighting new science‑driven products

A major reveal was the White Pine® Pomegranate supplement, designed to reduce hyperpigmentation. Clinical pilot results show significant melanin reduction within four weeks in Indian adults. CHOSEN actively publishes clinical research, making it a rare science‑driven Indian skincare brand. Published studies include research on its Sculpt Serum and sunscreen allergen presence. Further studies on collagen dosing and the new White Pine® formulation are underway.

Commitment to safety and innovation

The brand’s sunscreens underwent more than 700 formulation trials before release. CHOSEN’s filters maintain high safety standards and avoid endocrine disruptors and phthalates. The Sixer Conclave demonstrated CHOSEN’s ongoing commitment to community, science, and genuine innovation.
