Dermacon 2025 opens with Dr. Rajeev Sharma's inaugural address

Dermacon 2025, the 53rd National Conference of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) officially inaugurated by Dr Rajeev Sharma. He is the current President of IADVL. 

This prestigious event held recently at the JECC Sitapura Jaipur. Over 1,000 delegates from around the world attended who were excited to learn about new advancements in dermatology and aesthetic treatments.

Cutting-edge workshops and CME sessions

The conference started with a pre-conference CME session on medical dermatology, followed by workshops on surgical and aesthetic techniques. Delegates had the opportunity to see live demonstrations of advanced procedures. It includes skin rejuvenation treatments like Botox, fillers, lasers, HIFU, and PRP.

Advanced technologies and techniques are shaping the future of dermatology. A key highlight was a session on Artificial Intelligence (AI), which showcased its potential to transform skin disorder management. AI is set to play a crucial role in improving diagnostic accuracy and personalizing treatment plans for patients.

Moreover, the conference explored the growing importance of modern imaging technologies in dermatology. These advanced techniques improve the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions which is thereby leading to more precise and timely patient care.

Scientific sessions 

The conference featured 45 sessions covering various skin topics, including acne, pediatric dermatology, fungal infections, and hereditary conditions. International experts shared their insights into the latest treatments, equipping attendees with the knowledge to tackle complex dermatological issues.

Networking and collaboration

Jaipur’s vibrant atmosphere set the stage for successful collaboration and networking among over 600 Indian dermatology experts and 21 international specialists. The event provided a platform for attendees to share valuable insights and experiences.

As Dermacon 2025 wrapped up, delegates gained a deeper understanding of dermatology’s evolving landscape. Equipped with fresh skills and ideas, they are now better prepared to improve patient care and stay ahead in the industry.
