She highlighted her journey and expressed gratitude to her mentor, Dr Rekha Sheth. The episode centred on “Maximising Results with Skin Boosters”. During the session, Dr Saloni explained the differentiation between skin boosters and traditional dermal fillers. She explained that while fillers add volume and contour, skin boosters focus on skin repair, hydration, and quality improvement. These boosters enhance overall skin appearance and reduce fine lines.
The interactive Q&A covered various aspects of skin booster techniques. She detailed how boosters are usually injected intradermally or mid-dermally, using techniques like grid patterns and micro-droplet injections. She also discussed the use of cannulas for precision in challenging areas such as the upper face and under-eyes.
Further questions addressed included skin boosters’ suitability for facial and body treatments, patient eligibility, and strategies for extending treatment longevity. Dr Saloni also discussed new treatments like exosomes and PDRN and shared her vision for skin boosters in aesthetic medicine.
